The mechanics here at Eddies often get the opportunity to restore an old bike to its former glory for resale right here at the shop and there's nothing we look forward to more. Its very rewarding to take a seemingly worthless, worn out, old bike, and turn it into something useful, functional and beautiful again. These old rigs are quite often better bargains than newer bikes at the same price. Yep, "they just don't make 'em like they used to," or at least, that's the case most of the time.
So, sometimes an old bike can be the best deal in town, and at Eddies Bikes, that's usually the case. Good 'ole used ATB's often make the best commuters, too! Our used bikes come and go pretty quickly, so check this page frequently if you are in need, and hopefully something will turn up for you.
That being said... Some old bikes are worth restoring and some are not; so if you need help deciding, then bring your old bike in for a free estimate. One good rule of thumb: if it came from a department store, and not a bike shop, then it aint worth nuthin, sorry. None of our used bikes EVER come from department stores.
